Longwoods publishes academic and scientific research as well as commentary and information related to health sciences and health care. Longwoods.com showcases not only our publications but multimedia, including podcasts, videos and blogs. It is constantly evolving to deliver leading edge content and features. Our office is fast paced and friendly, and offers room for growth for a recent graduate or someone interested in an entry-level position. This person should have a thorough understanding of the Internet.

Tasks:

• Basic HTML markup
• Inputting content on site’s content management system
• E-mail blasts and organizing lists
• Administrative assistance

Candidate has:

• Knowledge of basic HTML
• Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, etc
• Understanding of web technologies
• Acute attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Ability to troubleshoot and seek appropriate resolutions
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent grasp of the English language
