Jeffrey Weatherill

This article was delivered as a paper to the Small Hospitals Session of the annual Ontario Hospital Association Convention in November 1999. It offers a potential positive outlook for non-urban communities to obtain essential healthcare services in response to local needs without necessarily having to depend on urban centres to provide them.
