Board Compensation within the Broader Public Sector in Canada: Does size matter in Board Chair compensation?

Introduction

Board compensation in the Canadian broader public sector is influenced by a number of factors. That said, it is not always clear why the Board Chairs of such organizations are compensated in the way that they are. Obviously the size and complexity of the organization play a role, but who determines the compensation practices for the organization may have an even bigger inuence on Board Chair compensation.
