An International Perspective on Nursing Informatics: In Conversation with Nick Hardiker

Dr. Nick Hardiker is the Director of the eHealth Programme at the International Council of Nurses. He is also a Professor and the Associate Dean of Research and Innovation at the School of Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work and Social Sciences at the University of Salford in Manchester, UK. Dr. Hardiker has an extensive background in research, teaching and leadership related to nursing and health informatics on a global level for over 20 years. Through his work at the International Council of Nurses' eHealth Programme, Dr. Hardiker has worked with nurses and nursing leaders from many countries around the world to support the development of informatics initiatives. Dr. Hardiker recently spoke with Gillian Strudwick, a graduate student at the University of Toronto.
