Today, the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation (CABHI) in Toronto and the Health and Innovation District in Surrey, B.C. announced a partnership to advance digital healthcare solutions for seniors.
The two organizations will work together to develop a pan-Canadian network focused on strengthening innovation and research into aging, brain health and neuroscience.
Specifically, that will mean accelerating the scaling of Canadian health tech start-ups and getting them adopted into the Canadian healthcare system. The partnership will also support initiatives that address challenges around healthy aging, cognitive health, including dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases.
