Effective immediately, recreation centres, public libraries, private schools, daycares, bars, restaurants, theatres, concert venues and cinemas will close until March 30, at least.
He also added public events of over 50 people, including parades, events and services within places of worship.
He went on to clarify that this is not a provincial shutdown; public transit, grocery stores, pharmacies and construction projects will continue to run.

The premier also announced a $300-million “first stage” relief package, aimed at ramping up containment efforts.
