A fire hazard at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon due to an overcrowding of patients in its halls has left the NDP concerned for patient safety.
Health Critic Danielle Chartier says these issues are reoccurring because of cuts to health care.Health Minister Jim Reiter countered saying the hospitals have been moving patients and reviewing their discharge system to ensure its working. He notes this is a national issue that everyone continues to battle against.
Reiter says he will be asking for a full report on the incident.
