Strata Health and Medworxx Announce Partnership

TORONTO and CALGARY, May 20  - Strata Health Solutions Inc. a leader in delivery of patient flow technology to global health organizations and Medworxx Inc. ("Medworxx") (TSXV: MWX), provider of healthcare solutions for patient flow, compliance and education announced today a partnership agreement that will provide a full view of the patient flow cycle, both inside and outside of the hospital.

Medworxx' Utilization Management System (UMS) and Bed Optimization System (BOS) are focused on patient flow within the acute care setting. The Medworxx UMS monitors patient stay, highlights care delays, assesses discharge readiness, and provides consistency in the care process and an understanding of when the patient should be discharged with no compromise to patient safety. The Medworxx BOS provides a real-time clinical status of patients, beds and resources with a view to establishing efficiencies in bed management as well as managing specific bed equipment requirements, and availability of acute, rehabilitation, continuing care or long-stay beds.

"We are excited to be working with Strata Health. Our customers have asked us to understand each others' solutions so we can better assist them in their patient flow access," said Dan Matlow, President & CEO, Medworxx. "Both Strata Health and Medworxx understand how an integrated solution will help healthcare organizations with this issue."

Strata Health is focused on transactional patient flow from the point of acute care discharge outbound to Sub-Acute, Community and Mental Health Addictions resources. Strata Health's systems streamline access and flow to facilities such as Home Care, Residential Care and Community Support Programs.

"The patient journey through our health systems today can be challenging as patients navigate from one care silo to another," comments Don Schick, President and CEO, Strata Health Solutions. "Partnering with Medworxx offers our teams the opportunity to support an optimized patient experience right across the care continuum from Acute admission right through discharge and on to Community support for the first time. That's exciting stuff!"

The combination of the technologies that Medworxx and Strata Health provide, allows regional healthcare organizations and Local Health Integration Networks (LHINS) to improve the entire patient flow process.

Strata Health and Medworxx already have common customers across Canada; both organizations are committed to working on integrating technologies and processes.
