Strata Health Solutions Earns ISO 27001 Compliance Canadian Corporation achieves Compliance with International Security Standards

Calgary, Alberta – August 03, 2011. Strata Health Solutions, a leading provider of Health Care Information Technology solutions and services for health jurisdictions and government entities, today announced completion of assessment and approval in operating to ISO/IEC 27001:2005 Information and Data Security Management System. ISO 27001 provides a comprehensive set of controls based on best practice in information security. ISO 27001 gives both clients and suppliers the confidence to trust an organization with the safekeeping of their information. This project was started in 2009 and demonstrates the firm's commitment to the security of its customers, stakeholders and all other parties associated with the organization.

"We recognize that the disciplines of confidentiality, integrity and availability within Information Security Management are integral parts of its management function. Our achievement of ISO 27001 compliance was only possible due to support from senior management in identifying these as primary responsibilities, as well as being absolutely fundamental in adopting appropriate Information Security Controls and ensuring that a commitment to security and privacy exists at all levels." commented Darcy Matras, Director of Privacy and Security for Strata Health.

"It is a long term commitment to excellence by all staff that drives Strata Health Solutions Information Security Policy to operate at the highest standards, and to implement and fully operate the ISO/IEC 27001:2005 standard. This includes continual improvement through registration and annual review." stated Don Schick, CEO of Strata Health. "Our customers can entrust Strata Health with their data knowing it is handled and processed in accordance to elite international standards for information security. Our commitment to these standards as our business scales is unwavering."

With a 10-year track record of IT innovation and service excellence, Strata Health today supports Acute eDischarge and Resource Matching/eReferral across health systems managing over 10 million citizens within Canada and the UK.
