Abstract

The number, diversity and breadth of comments to our paper, "Where Are the Healthcare Leaders?" are indicative of the magnitude of interest in, and complexity of, this issue. The commentaries added immeasureably to our perspectives of the contemporary healthcare leadership challenge. We concur with the comments that have strengthened the clarion call for rethinking the traditional healthcare leadership development paradigm.
