Abstract
The recent reports of the Romanow Commission and Senate Committee chaired by Michael Kirby provide a solid platform for measures to renew and modernize medicare across Canada. Within this there is an opportunity to drastically shift the emphasis from treating illness to promoting good health - most importantly, in our children.
