Transferring Knowledge and Effecting Change in Working Healthcare Environments: Response to Seven Commentaries
George P. Browman, Anne Snider and Peter Ellis
Abstract
We are grateful for the opportunity to have the description of our effort to effect change critiqued by knowledgeable individuals committed to expanding the methodological and theoretical basis of health services research. The mixture of support, clarification, admonition and challenge will help us to focus our work and advance our thinking. We appreciate the time and effort taken by those who contributed their thoughts to this edition of HealthcarePapers. Our response to the seven commentaries is organized into two sections: points of clarification and advancing the discussion.
