Abstract

We thank the other authors for their thoughtful commentaries to our lead paper. With the developments in Canada over the past few years to establish quality councils as mechanisms to marshal improvements in quality of care, it is interesting and invigorating to consider both international perspectives on these efforts and reactions from other Canadian quality councils that were featured in our paper.
