Climbing Mount Everest: On Our Way to the Summit
Abstract
Mount Everest. It looms on the horizon of our minds, vast and mighty - a symbol of the greatest challenges on earth. Standing 8,850 metres above sea level, its near-vertical slopes and deep icy crevasses are forbidding and seemingly unconquerable. And yet, on May 29, 1953, its summit was reached. In that, there's hope for all the hard jobs we have to do. We can learn from Everest.
