Commentary: Culture Is the Outcome of How People Interact
Abstract
Leggat and Dwyer's conclusions suggest that some interesting challenges confront the healthcare system across Canada. Their argument, that the evidence suggests better management is the key for organizational success in hospitals rather than a reliance on changing the culture, should not be surprising, but given what we have experienced, it is a decided call for action.
