A Status Report on Hospital Restructuring in Ontario

Ontario's Health Services Restructuring Commission is slightly past two years into its four-year mandate and has reviewed more than half of the province's hospitals, To date it has made recommendations on the desired number of hospitals and their service capacity. The next stage will be to expand beyond the focus on hospitals and begin examining coordination of all the province's health services.
