Palliative Care Training Courses for volunteers are given twice a year, in the fall and the spring at one of the following McGill Teaching Hospitals, St. Mary’s Hospital, MUHC (Montreal General Hospital), Jewish General Hospital and Mount Sinai.

These workshops are open to anyone interested in becoming a volunteer in Palliative Care as well as caregivers, nurses, PABs or anyone else interested in learning more about the meaning of palliative care and what it has to offer.

This course is given evenings, for seven consecutive weeks, in English only at one of the following hospitals:  St. Mary’s Hospital, The Jewish General Hospital or the MUHC (Montreal General Hospital). The registration fee is $35.00 and a certificate will be awarded upon completion.

The courses will run as follows: Wednesday, March 12, 19, 26; April 2, 9, 23 and May 6, 2014, at Mount Sinai Hospital. The courses are held during the evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
