Half of European physicians would prefer to receive drug information online, according to a survey by Manhattan Research.
The survey found that 57 per cent of physicians place primary importance on drug representatives as the major information source. Fifty-six per cent of physicians who prefer online communication said they prefer to receive information from drug companies via e-mail, making it the most popular method.
Results are based on a Q4 2006 phone survey of 1,000 practicing
physicians in France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the United
Kingdom.
