CeraVe partners with SE Healthcare to sponsor Nurse Burnout Prevention Program

CHARLESTON, S.C., May 9, 2023 — CeraVe, as a part of its Nurse Advocacy Program, has partnered with SE Healthcare to promote, develop, and sponsor its Nurse Burnout Prevention program. The beloved skincare brand, which is the #1 dermatologist-recommended skincare brand1, has been supporting nurses and elevating their profound work over the last several years. Among the chief concerns is burnout, even before the pandemic raised occupational stressors to an unprecedented level. As a part of CeraVe’s efforts to provide support and resources to nurses, it is sponsoring SE Healthcare unique Nurse Burnout Prevention program. The cloud-based program recently made news when it was added as a member benefit for the American Nurses Association (ANA). CeraVe’s sponsorship will consist of promoting the program and partnering to develop content to add to SE Healthcare’s already robust course offerings.

“The CeraVe brand is rooted in the medical community, and over the last several years, we have invested in nurses, who are a critical part of that community, through education, support and resources for overall well-being,” said Jasteena Gill, the VP of Marketing at CeraVe. “Nurses deserve as much care as they provide to their patients day in and day out, and working with SE Healthcare is just one of the ways we are aiming to help better the lives of nurses. We know that burnout has long been a real problem, which is why we’re supporting the SE Healthcare Nurse Burnout Prevention Program.”

The proven, data-driven program is designed to be simple, mobile, scalable, and applicable to all healthcare entities and clinicians. Nurses receive immediate, 24/7 access to a video coaching series on real-world challenges that nurses face. In addition, the program includes 25 CNE credits and a reference library of peer-reviewed resources about intervention programs. A four-question assessment tool assists in identifying specific organizational and individual stressors, all analyzed by demographics and location, and supported by a visual data dashboard.

“We are seeing over 80% of participants self-report that they will use a strategy from our program tomorrow to support their well-being,” explained Chief Clinical and Innovation Officer Andrea Coyle, DNP, MHA, NE-BC. “We’re thrilled to partner with CeraVe as they add this fight against burnout to the work they are doing to support nurses year-round.”

SE Healthcare has been at the forefront of improving healthcare for over a decade. Founded as a data analytics company comprised of physicians, legal and risk management consultants, and healthcare quality and safety thought leaders, the firm focused on using healthcare data to help medical providers mitigate risk by improving the quality of care at the institutional level. The focus on addressing care challenges before they become adverse outcomes led directly to the development of SE Healthcare’s Burnout Prevention Programs tailored to nurses and physicians. The Nurse Burnout Prevention Program has garnered the support of the ANA based on the overwhelmingly positive reception of its members.
