A 59-year-old man is facing assault charges after threatening three healthcare workers at Grace Hospital.

Winnipeg police say the man, who was being treated at the hospital from April 30 and May 1, was allegedly behaving aggressively and making inappropriate comments to the staff.

Police say during his treatment, two healthcare workers were allegedly sexually assaulted, with one worker’s clothing ripped as the man allegedly tried to bite her. A third healthcare worker was allegedly threatened.

His behaviour led hospital security to place the man in secure restraints and contact police.
