A UNBC Professor who transformed rural healthcare is one of 61 people to be appointed to the Order of Canada.
Dr. Martha MacLeod was selected for the honour at the end of June for her commitment to improving health outcomes for northern and remote communities.
MacLeod told Vista Radio after moving to Prince George from Winnipeg in 1994, she immediately found herself in a great situation.
