The government of Nova Scotia is facing questions about why it's creating a new agency while enforcing cuts and staring down a significant deficit.
The province announced Tuesday that it was launching Accelerate Nova Scotia, which is focusing on health-care innovation.
It will be led by Karen Oldfield, who was the interim head of Nova Scotia Health for the last five years.
