Publisher’s Note

On behalf of Longwoods Publishing, I am pleased to announce that Sara Allin has accepted an appointment as co-Editor-in-Chief of Healthcare Papers. Dr. Allin will share editorial responsibilities with current Editor-in-Chief, Audrey LaPorte.

Dr. Allin is an Associate Professor of Health Policy at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. She is also Director of the North American Observatory on Health Systems and Policies (NAO). Her research has focused primarily on health equity and health system performance.

We look forward to this collaboration with Dr. Allin as she guides the journal in new directions. 

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Arjumand Siddiqi as she steps away from Healthcare Papers to take on new responsibilities and projects. Joining the editorial team in 2020, Dr. Siddiqi co-lead the journal through the pandemic and brought a distinct health equity approach to her work with the journal. We wish Dr. Siddiqi well in all future endeavours.
