Quebec’s new health-care charge will come into effect Thursday, starting at $25 a year and rising progressively to $200 per person by 2012. According to CBC it will apply to all Quebecers over 18 years of age, with the exception of more than a million on very low incomes.
About 32 percent of healthcare organizations already use some form of cloud computing. Some 73 percent report that they plan to move more applications to the cloud, according to a study from consulting firm Accenture. The numbers correspond to what Accenture found in other industries.
