New Words. Can you makem up? Share them on this blog
Unwords.com is one of many sites that play with language. It’s fun and the results can become mainstream in a moment. Think about “tweeting” and “blogging” and “keying” — all words we use in everyday language now. Here’s one more: ebiot (ē-bē-ət)  (n.) An online winning bidder who pays in excess of retail on a completely worthless item.
Idea. If we focus on new words that relate (even remotely) to health and healthcare we can help authors and tweeters alike. Any suggestions? Just respond to this blog. We will feature the good ones in the Longwoods eLetter. Goforit. [or Send the words directly to publisher@longwoods.com]. Each week the top three – as picked by our editors – will each be granted a one year online subscription to one journal.
