Cubby Broccoli and James Bond – Two weeks ago we offered online subscriptions to the first ten individuals who made the connection between some strange sounding places and the doctors who work there. We received lots of replies. Most were what we expected. We particularly liked #8. The first ten answers were:
- Cubby Broccoli was the director for the first James Bond movies. – Alastair Lamb
- Cubby Broccoli produced the early James Bond films. – Paul Lake
- The connection is that Albert Broccoli is also the name of the producer (Albert R. Broccoli) of the James Bond movies. – Jason Nickerson
- Albert Brocoli was the long time producer of the James Bond movie series. – Jon Kimball
- Dr. Duke Cameron: as Cardiac Surgeon… and Dr. Bond: he is breaking down the barrier of access to physician. – John Martin
- Albert R. “Cubby” Broccoli was the producer of all the James Bond films up through GoldenEye. – Dr. Alexander Franklin
- Albert (Cubby) Broccoli was the Executive Producer of the Bond flicks franchise up until Golden Eye (1995). – Allan Katz
- Practice medicine in places that sound fictitious. – Pooja Bhatia
- Cubby Broccoli made his fortune as producer of James Bond movies. – James Murtagh
- Duke is the Cardiac Surgeon -in -charge of the Center and A. James Bond is a physician in Moose Factory, not the James Bond of the movie premier, fundraiser for the “Cubby” Broccoli Centre.- Caroline Park
