Ruth is a professor and the director of the School of Nursing and assistant dean, Research, at the Faculty of Health at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS.

With focuses on innovation, primary care, long-term care, nurse practitioners, advanced specialization and more, Ruth will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.

A new day for the journal comes during some of the most interesting, exciting and trying times for the nursing community. The knowledge learned and shared over the future will be of great importance as Ruth works to support nurses, nurse leaders, policy makers, administrators and more.
